About The EstateFashionistas flock to The Estate, and for good reason. This is a high-energy party venue that’s chock full of trendy young professionals, college students, and the elite. The décor is dramatic and includes a grand, romantic fireplace, glittering chandeliers, heavy red velvet curtains, a wraparound balcony, and ornate arches.
The music is played at ear-splitting levels, and dancers can feel the bass in their souls. Thursday nights are the weekly EDM dance party, Fridays bring DJ Costa’s House Party to Boston, which includes EDM, remixes, guest DJs, and hip-hop. Estate Saturdays continue the EDM party, with some hip-hop thrown in. Four huge plasma TVs show an ever-changing loop of current and vintage videos.
There is a strict dress code here, which the managers of The Estate describe as “Nice Casual to Dressy.” Don’t show up in a tank top, t-shirt, flannel shirt, ripped or oversized pants, sports wear, jerseys, hats, or work boots, and you should be fine. Sneakers are allowed – but only if they’re fashionable.
The cover charge starts at $20 and goes up depending on the event. Tickets can be bought online to avoid long lines or being turned away when they’re over capacity. Beer will run you $5 – $9, cocktails are $8 – $15 and bottle service starts at $150.
