The Lanes

As the name might suggest, this is actually a bowling alley. It is, however, a little different from your standard wear funny shoes and aim for ten pins. While you can come to bowl, you’ll be better off coming to their top room which hosts club nights every week. Open until 3am, the club is simple and little more than a cozy back room, but it’s roster of DJs know how to get everyone dancing. Add regular drink offers, and the night can get a little raucous.

The music is mixed, with house, punk, 60s, and everything in-between making an appearance. So while it’s not for the hardcore music lovers, the unique venue offers something different to Bristol’s club scene. The nights are about dressing down, not being seen, and if you get bored you can always go downstairs and have a bowl.
