Austin has quickly developed a nightlife that is wholly unique to the region. A large slice of hipsters converge with good ole fashioned cowboys, and the new faces of urban cool. What’s even more interesting is the fact that The Madison is in an area that is quickly becoming dominated by hipster bars, and trendy indie venues. The Madison is definitely a stark alternative to those scenes, with its balcony view of the dance floor, VIP bottle service, and two full service bars.

The décor is post modern Victorian, and presents a certain type of elegance that is cleverly juxtaposed with post vintage flourishes. So what can you expect if you decide to spend part of your night at The Madison? You can probably expect a fairly well known DJ to be spinning something catchy, and poppy while beautiful people sip on expensive signature cocktails. This also means that the club will be populated with a healthy amount of hook up seeking night owls, propelled only by hormones, and a full tank of Red Bull. Still, if you’re into an amped up dance night, and don’t mind getting hit on by the errant boy or girl, this might be just the place for you an a group of friends. Dress nice, and bring someone who knows someone on hosted nights and weekends though. The door can become strict on a whim. If you can’t manage to snag someone with an inside track into the club, you can always try the simple approach of nice clothes, and pretty company.
