The Mint

The Award-winning restaurant/bar/club “The Mint” is housed in a former bank, giving inspiration to its name. With a modern comeback of Hollywood Regency design, well after its heyday in the 30s, the interior carries the glitz and glamour of an era long gone, including dark woods and Cohiba marble, nowadays not only impressing the rich and famous. Gorgeous fireplaces, a 30-foot bar in the main room, a specialty Champagne bar in the co-ed bathroom, a state-of-the-art retractable lighting system and the bank’s original vault door only contribute further to its special ambiance.

If you’re not drawn to the slightly smaller dancefloor, pulsating to eclectic house and pop music, or you’re too shy to show your moves on one of the dancefloor tables (yes, that’s right), you can settle down on one of the four raised DJ lounges overlooking the venue and DJ, enjoying the crowd from above.

If you fancy a more “al fresco” experience after exhausting moves on the dancefloor, you can chill with a well-mixed and reasonably priced drink on the huge wrap-around-patio, listening to music being pumped out from the speakers or getting ready for some VIP treatment in one of the patio cabana flats.

The dress code here is “business casual” aka “Oscar-adequate”, segregating the riff-raff from a more upscale crowd, wishing to look their best.
