The Tunnels

Still a big player in Scotland’s underground live music scene, The Tunnels is an intimate 300-person capacity venue that spans the full musical spectrum.  Often showcasing local acts, it’s a place where one can see up-and-coming bands, as well as more well-known names like Howard Marks, Hot Chip, and Kate Nash.

Their eclecticism extends into the electronic genre and their bimonthly club nights get bass-heavy with DJs like DJ Format, and moves to all things techno on the last Saturday of the month.  Dingy and full of atmosphere, it’s the kind of club where sweat drips from bare brick walls, and a packed crowd groans at closing time.

Down-to-earth and keeping things simple, The Tunnels is a place to leave your ego at home and stomp on the dance floor.
