About The303 at Louie and Chan

Also known simply as The 303, The 303 at Louie and Chan opened in 2013 on the Lower East Side in New York City, and consists of a restaurant and bar with a music area.

If you’re wondering where the name comes from, it stems from a play of the names of Little Italy and Chinatown. It’s one of those places where you go to listen to hot beats from DJs like Quantic without worrying about someone grabbing your derriere.

Past guests rave about everything from the atmosphere to the menu, the latter of which includes choices such as squid ink pasta, pizza, focaccia bread, and fried artichokes. Their pasta plates got the most compliments. Drinks also got a thumbs up for being just the right mix for a good price.

The 303 is sexy and dark, so if you want to get up close and personal with your date, this is the place to do it. It can get pretty crowded in the small space, so be prepared. There’s couches you can sit on, but you’ll have to grab a seat as soon as you see an opening as they’re popular spots.

They’re open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm, and 6pm to midnight. On Monday they’re open open the later part of the day.
