About Tricky Falls

Tricky Falls in El Paso is a live music venue has quite the rich history that dates all the way back to the early 1900s.

Located in the Henry C. Trost building, Tricky Falls was once known first as the Alhambra Theater, then as the Palace Theater. It first opened on August 1, 1914 and had multiple uses as a playhouse and a movie house. Since then, it became a multitude of establishments, including several different nightclubs, before being taken over in 2011 by those in the industry (musicians, bar owners, etc) where it was transformed into the space it is today.

While you can buy tickets online, it’s going to be a bit more work if you want hard tickets. There are currently four places to buy them, two of which only accept cash.

Tricky Falls is an intimate space. While they do have a small area where you can stand and listen to the music, which consists of local talent as well as bands that are nationally known, there are also small booths and tables you can sit at and relax. They feature a variety of acts ranging from Aaron Carter to Beware of Darkness and everyone in between.
