About V-Dance Club

Celebrate with style in Gelsenkirchen’s V-Dance Club, which combines mystical nostalgia with warmth and friendliness. Antique English interior, impressive paintings on walls and ceilings, and ancient masonry illuminated by torches melt seamlessly with various styles from baroque to gothic to romantic.

In a castle-like setting you can dance underneath beautiful chandeliers or enjoy a drink amidst authentic requisites and an array of candles, creating a nostalgic ambiance.

The DJ, positioned on an old church lectern, preaches anything from electronic to pop music.  Special events, generally held on Fridays, take on themes such as “Schools Out,” “Italian Night,” “R & B,” or “Gay Nights.”  Anything is possible, so make sure to check on their website before you go.
Saturdays are usually “Saturday Night Fever” themed.  You can dance until sunrise with the best of yesterday’s hits, the hits of today, and the newest of tomorrow.  Saturdays are mostly visited by a slightly older crowd.
If you’re just out to enjoy the company of friends whilst sipping delicious cocktails or one of the various coffee creations, skip the dancefloor and move straight to “Rittersaal.”  As you’d expect from the name, the interior is more rusty with a decoration of candles, armors and other cavalier deco.

V-Dance Club is for the more reminiscent music lovers out there.
