What?! Club is located in the middle of a strip mall near Alexanderplatz in the heart of former East Berlin.

Against the usual “trashy-damp-basement-smell’ club trend in Berlin, What?! is kept in basic black with a few floor-to-ceiling mirrors enhancing the colorful, kinetic lighting on the dancefloor, which is generally packed by 2am. Steering away from trendy appearances and pretentiousness, it redirects the focus back to: music.

With a line-up featuring international DJs and artists as well a supporting local acts, you’ll be served a happy mix of music styles ranging from Indie, HipHop, Dancehall, Soca, Funk to Electro, Pop and Disco each Friday and Saturday night – a tempting mix for night owls, proving a smart move in “Germany’s City of Techno”. Two floors offer sufficient room for spreading great vibes plus a variety of preferred and attempted dancing styles alike. “What is Love” invites DJs once a month to contribute their musical recommendations to this motto, and true to the seemingly romantic theme, you’ll be granted 2 for 1 at the door to round up the night.

Currency-wise the club is on the friendlier side, encouraging you to spend a great and long-lasting night out.
