Whiskey Bar

Set in the Southwest area, Whiskey Bar aims to infuse Portland with hot EDM and keep the party going.

When they’re open, Whiskey Bar is blasting EDM from their top notch sound system. Wednesdays are dubbed “F▲K WEDNESDAYS” featuring “Trap, Bass, Booty, Twerk, EDM,” and Friday Night House Sessions features the hottest DJs from locally and around the world. While there is usually a small cover, typically $5, ladies are free before midnight unless otherwise stated. The crowd is 21+ only.  The dance floor can get crowded, but not overly so that you have elbows jabbing into your ribs all night.

Whiskey Bar has two bars, but both aren’t always open. Past guests rave about the bartenders and drinks, but state that the lines at the bar can get a bit crazy. Make sure to bring your patience. They offer happy hour ($3 well drinks) and they have a coat check that tends to get pretty hot inside. Dress code is trendy, so come dressed in your best. Smoking is allowed only outdoors.
