Dance Valley at Velsen Valley, Spaarnwoude, Recreation Ground

Often referred to as “The Woodstock of Dance,” Dance Valley is held in the Netherlands every summer. It was first held in 1994 and had a sparse turnout of just 8,000 people, but has grown to tens of thousands of people. In 2005 the festival was increased to a three day weekend event, and camping was added. Over the years other changes have included competitions of BMX, skateboarding, and motorcycling, which add a thrill to the weekend. This year will celebrate the incredible 20^th anniversary of the festival with a one-day event on August 2, 2014.
