About Latitude FestivalThe Latitude Festival was first held in July of 2006 and since then has been one of the largest festivals in England. It’s returned year after to year to the same Henham Park, Southwold location and includes a comprehensive bill of artists, bands and musicians.
There are 4 stages in total: The Obelisk Arena, the i Arena, the Huw Stephenscurated Lake Stage, and the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage. While music is the primary draw, there are many cultural experiences to be had including cabaret, politics, literature, art, theater, comedy, and poetry. The Latitude Festival is run by the Festival Republic, who also organizes the popular Reading and Leeds festivals as well as the Glastonbury Festival.
The 2014 show will run from Thursday July 17th through Sunday July 20th, and more than 400 acts are scheduled to take the stage. They include Röyksopp & Robyn, Booker T. Jones, Phosphorescent, Goat, Willis Earl Beal, San Fermin, Josephine Foster, Billy Bragg, Anna Calvi, Nils Frahm, Cass McCombs, Marika Hackman, and Son Lux.
