Loveland Van Oranje at Oosterpark, Amsterdam

Kingsday is the biggest, boldest and most bonkers celebration in the whole of the Dutch calendar, so its only fitting that the boys behind Loveland events bring out the brilliant Loveland Van Oranje festival to keep with tradition.

Returning to the 12 pristine acres of Amsterdam Oosterpark for a third time, the green trees and blue skies will be overrun by a sea of orange t-shirts, jumpers and hats, as ravers and EDM fans are wowed by a supreme team of house, electronic and techno maestros.

It’s an imaginative world of vintage fairground rides and candy floss, giant skipping ropes and fancy dresses, with crisp sound systems booming out music from an over-the-top main stage.

The party runs through the afternoon and into the evening as smoke machines, sunglasses and smiles cover the festival site. Expect fancy dresses, crowns, balloons and beachballs as well as food that ranges from juicy hamburgers to delicious Vietnamese grub.
