Awakening ft. Ferry Corsten @ Exchange LA

Dutch trance superstar, Ferry Corsten, returns to Exchange LA where he has hosted some of his best LA nights to-date. The massive floor-to-ceiling LED wall will be blazing with the most tantalizing visuals, providing the perfect backdrop for a night full of dancing, air hearts, and PLUR. Framework ft. Chaim and Doc Martin @ Sound Nightclub

TGIFramework. One of our favorite nights of the week for good damn house music… plain and simple. Dance away your work-week woes with like-minded folks who are ready to party it up at one of the most musically infamous local spots. This Friday, Framework features sounds by Chaim from Tel Aviv, and the legendary Doc Martin in celebration of Magnetic Mag‘s three year anniversary.

TGIS ft. Robbie Rivera @ Sound Nightclub

Puerto Rican house music icon and head of Juicy Music, Robbie Rivera, brings Miami to LA on Saturday. After a sizzling summer season in Ibiza and the August 4 release of his Juicy Ibiza compilation, which includes his new, original production, “La Gente,” get ready for some steamy sounds and a packed dancefloor.

Arcade Saturdays ft. Chromeo (DJ Set) @ Create

David Macklovitch and Patrick Gemayel make up the Canadian, electro-funk duo, also known as Chromeo. Their White Women EP is out now, and the catchy track, “Jealous (I Ain’t With It),” is one of those songs you find yourself knowing the words to, even if you haven’t listened to it intentionally. You can catch their unique sound and energy in a special DJ set this Saturday at Create Nightclub in Hollywood.

Avaland ft. Sandro Silva and Pierce Fulton @ Avalon Hollywood

As we enter the “final” month of summer (although this time frame proves irrelevant for us Californians), be sure to soak up as many SoundsLike summer Sundays as possible, as we will miss the extended hours on the terrace. If you are a house music lover and live in Hollywood, but have yet to partake in the weekly dance-fest that is Trent Cantrelle’s event, climb out from under that rock and join us at Room 86.

Monday Night Social ft. FUR Coat @ Sound Nightclub

This is another event that should not be missed, if at all possible. Barecelona-based duo, FUR Coat, originated from Venezuela and their deep and soulful beats reflect this immense passion, experience, and culture. They have a stellar roster of releases on labels like Hot Creations and Crosstown Rebels. The long-time running club night, Monday Night Social, is an institution for hosting some of the greatest in house music and this week continues true to form.
