Monday Social ft. Sander Kleinenberg @ Sound Nightclub (Monday, July 21)

Monday Night Social racks up another DJOYbeat event spotlight with Dutch DJ and international house music icon, Sander Kleinenberg. Sander is both skilled and seasoned on the decks, having gotten his start when he was just 15 years old. He has played to audiences all over the world and we are excited to welcome him back to Sound Nightclub in Hollywood. His latest track, “We-R-Superstars,” caused quite a stir when it was released anonymously as an ID track on Billboard with many people speculating that it was a new Daft Punk collaboration with Madonna. Check out the video to “We-R-Superstars,” unless you hate funny, doggy-style videos and join us at Monday Night Social for awesome music and dancing ’til your feet hurt.

Discotek ft. Lavelle Dupree, Jaime Narvaez, and Darin Wescott @ The Cosmo

San Diego DJ Lavelle Dupree headlines the Thursday night deep house, tech house, and nu disco party. His dynamic style is a great compliment to the energetic dancefloor, typically packed in equal parts music fans as it is local and visiting artists. The Cosmo, located on Hollywood Blvd., is a gorgeous backdrop for the best house music in Hollywood on Thursday nights. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, this would be a great week to pop your Discotek cherry.

Control LA ft. Deniz Koyu, Hot Mouth, and Vato Gonzalez @ Avalon Hollywood

Control LA has had a tremendous last year at it’s home at the historic Avalon in Hollwood. This is one of the few parties that manages to bring in a quality crowd that is under 21. Opening its doors to music lovers 19 years and older, it is one of the hottest spots on Friday night for the harder genres of EDM. This Friday, the lineup features Deniz Koyu, Hot Mouth, and Vato Gonzales.

Til Dawn presents Overwerk @ Create Nightclub

Create Nightclub features Canadian electro house producer and songwriter, Edmond Huszar, aka Overwerk. Just this month he is scheduled to debut at some of the US’s most infamous clubs, like Beta in Denver and Rubye Skye in San Francisco and is one of EDM’s biggest up-and-comers. His latest EP, Conquer, is out now and you can preview it on Soundcloud.

Avaland ft. tyDi and Sydney Blu @ Avalon Hollywood

Located on the historic corner of Hollywood and Vine, Avalon Hollywood was previously The Hollywood Palace… a famous landmark that had its stage graced by some of the best musical talent in history, including The Beatles and The Jackson Five. Now, Avalon is one of the longest running nightclubs in the country with a dedication to special event and the best in all genres of dance music. This Saturday, Avaland features one of the biggest EDM DJs to come out of Australia, tyDi, as well as one of the top females in the electronic music scene, Sydney Blu.

DJ Scooter @ Greystone Manor

Greystone Manor is a chic venue that is a perfect example of what you would expect from a Hollywood nightclub. Sexy decor, go-go dancers, confetti drops, and exclusive bottle service tables. On Saturday, DJ Scooter (1/2 of Scooter & Lavelle) will be dropping the base and keeping the dancefloor raging into the week hours of the morning. This is definitely the place to get dressed up, be seen, and get your EDM fix this Saturday.

Inception ft. Claude VonStroke @ Exchange LA

San Francisco based house and techno producer, Claude VonStroke, makes his return to Exchange in downtown Los Angeles. The Dirtybird label boss has a reputation for some of the best nights in LA dance history. Calculating Exchange’s massive dancefloor and epic LED wall, this Saturday is bound to be another spectacular party. Dancing shoes ON! Music UP!

Arcade Saturdays ft. EDX @ Create Nightclub

On Saturday, Create (the massive nightclub collaboration by Insomniac Events and SBE) features one of our favorite Swedish producers, Maurizio Colella, better known as EDX. Always bringing an arsenal of monster hits and legendary anthems in his back pocket, EDX consistently brings the best in beats and electronic energy to any event, so get ready for a wild night and put you game face on.

SoundsLike ft. Trent Cantrelle, Tara Brooks, and Jessi Wright @ Room 86

Room 86 is a local spot known for hosting the Sunday installment of SoundsLike Summer Terrace, by label boss and resident DJ, Trent Cantrelle (if you can’t find it, just head over to the old Dim Mak Studios at 6356 Hollywood Blvd). SoundsLike always provides the best in dark, dirty house and tech and its fiercely loyal following shows up every week to hear the New Orleans native and Los Angeles resident spin his hypnotically sexy sets. SoundsLike also features female powerhouse, Tara Brooks, along with Jessi Wright this week. The doors open at 8 p.m., making it the final stop on the local Sunday Funday train.
