This week the iconic Avalon club night, Avaland Saturdays, hosts one of its own residents, Simon Patterson. The internationally famed EDM superstar has had 15 consecutive No. 1 hits on Beatport and has headlined some of the best festivals in the world, including Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT, 450, 600, and 650. He will play an extended four-hour set with support from the incredibly talented LA prodigy Kristina Sky, and 25-year-old Freedom Fighters from Tel Aviv.

Encore ft. Corey Caffrey and Dylan Kimmeth @ 31ten Lounge (Santa Monica, CA)

This Thursday celebrates the second installment of Encore, the Twilight Concert Series Afterparty. The party boasts “only good vibes and house music” and features Corey Caffrey, and Encore Resident DJ, Dylan Kimmeth. Encore is hosted at 31ten Lounge (3110 Main St. in Santa Monica) and there is no cover with doors opening at 9:30.

Discotek ft. J Diesel, Shanto, Tony Smooth, and Jaime Narvaez @ The Cosmo

Plush and decadent, The Cosmo provides a sexy atmosphere for the weekly backdrop of sultry deep house and nudisco beats. Quickly establishing itself as the place to be for good music on Thursdays, Discotek features  J Diesel, Shanto, Tony Smooth, and Jaime Narvaez. This is not the place for wallflowers with an active and enticing dancefloor. There is no cover before 10:30 p.m. and only $5 after, so get there early.

Awakening ft. Project 46 @ Exchange LA

Canadian progressive house duo, Project 46, burst onto the scene when their breakthrough track, “Reasons,” passed EDM icon DJ Tiësto to claim the No. 1 spot on Beatport. Since then, they have landed in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs and frequently toured the US.

Wulfpack Warehouse Party ft. Riley Warren, Jamie Schwabl, Alana Star, and Aaron Jacobs @ The Cave

The Wulfpack label hosts truly unique events, combining some of the best in deeper dance music with art and fashion. Friday night they are hosting their Burning Man Fundraiser showcasing their musical talents along with wall to wall murals, a silent raffle, hand-crafted jewelry, and quality items to add to your Burning Man attire. The Cave is located at 715 Garland Avenue in Los Angeles. Please note that entry at the door will be cash only and a $20 minimum donation is encouraged.

FLYT Launch ft. TYGA and Designer Drugs @ OHM Nightclub

Located at the top of the Hollywood and Highland shopping center, OHM Nightclub is one of the newest Hollywood nightclubs to see and be seen at. On Saturday, they launch their weekly dance music event called FLYT, boasting headliners TYGA and Designer Drugs. The club night is 21+ and runs from 10 p.m. until 3 a.m.

Pool Party ft. Adam Auburn and Shanto @ The Sofitel Hotel

There is nothing that says California summer like pool parties, cold drinks, and bad-ass beats. The Sofitel Hotel’s rooftop pool is the perfect setting for getting your Saturday day-drinking on to the sexy house beats of LA’s Adam Auburn and DJ Shanto. Swimsuits on, music up!

Inception ft. Fehrplay and Grum @ Exchange LA

Exchange LA and Insomniac’s weekly club night, Inception, is a staple Saturday night hotspot where music lovers can come together and count on some of EDM’s brightest stars and biggest names. This Saturday, come dance to the beats of Norwegian DJ Fehrplay and Scotland talent Grum, while you gaze up in awe of the massive, sky high LED wall and revel in the pristine sound system of Exchange LA.

Basis ft. Phuture and Styus @ King King

On the last Saturday of every month, King King in Hollywood brings you Basis, with a pure techno and house format. This month, Basis features Phuture Live, a Chicago-based acid house group that was born in 1985. Members include Spanky, DJ Pierre, and Herb J. The Basis lineup also includes LA duo, Sylus. The event page describes the event as, “No bottle service. No VIP. No Guestlist. Pure Dancefloor.” If you are down for some downright good music without the typical Hollywood distractions, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Subtract on the Pier: Desert Hearts Party @ Ristorante Al Mare (Santa Monica Pier, CA)

Desert Hearts is becoming infamous with some of the best outdoor dance parties in California. The intimate rooftop venue on the Santa Monica Pier is the perfect location for the deep, sexy vibe provided by Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, Anton Tumas, and Matt Xavier. The event is 21+ and runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

SoundsLike Sundays ft. Trent Cantrelle, Dyla, and AJ Mora @ Room 86

Come and get your dancing and good vibes on at SoundsLike Sundays, hailed  as the best local spot for deep beats and dancefloor shennanigans. Resident DJ Trent Cantrelle never fails to bring the best in house music and the crowd, filled with music gurus, DJs, and producers, knows how to tell the fakers from the makers. Room 86 is the local name for the terrace at the event venue that was formerly Dim Mak Studios, and the entrance is located at 6356 Hollywood Blvd.
