Hot Since 82 and Carlo Lio @ Exchange LA, Saturday, May 31

Exchange LA brings their A-game yet again this week with Hot Since 82 and Carlo Lio. Insomniac Events hosts the weekly Saturday night party, Inception, which is known for bringing in big names that are equal in quality as they are in hype. Daley Padley, aka Hot Since 82, is no different. Racing to No. 1 on the Beatport dance music charts, the Hot Since 82 Remix of Green Velvet’s, “Bigger Than Prince” was one of the most popular tracks of 2013 and was one of many outstanding tracks on his first full-length album, Little Black Book, released in October of 2013. The British producer will be teaming up with Toronto native, Carlo Lio, whose sexy, hypnotic style and masterfully creative mixing captivates fans and inspires dancefloors. The lineup also features support from LA’s own Freddy B and Jonnie King.

Control LA: Nari & Milani, Tim Mason, and Digital Lab at Avalon Hollywood

Italian DJ duo Nari & Milani headline Friday’s 19+ party at Avalon Hollywood, along with Tim Mason and Digital Lab. If you haven’t had a chance to check out Avalon’s new facelift, we highly recommend it. Keeping the feel of the old Avalon we know and love with a new appeal to the “trendier” Hollywood crowd, this Hollywood staple isĀ  back on hotspot status.

FRENZY Afterhours: JJ Flores, Shmitty, and Steve Prior at Bardot (in Avalon)

We know that “technically” this is Saturday, but let’s be honest…you know you haven’t slept yet. Starting at 2 a.m. at the highly underrated Bardot terrace, located on Avalon’s rooftop, this party rages on until 7 a.m. The best news is the bar opens again at 6 a.m., and what’s better than breakfast beverages? This week’s roster includes the mega-talented Chicago house legend JJFlores, who consistently plays the sexiest of sets that have his fans loyally following him around from gig to gig (and staying up until the wee hours). Also taking manning the decks will be Shmitty and resident DJ, Steve Prior.

All Gone Pete Tong: Pete Tong, Victor Calderone, and Lauren Lane at Sound Nightclub

Pete Tong’s monthly residency brings Brooklyn’s Victor Calderone to Hollywood. Victor’s earlier career boasts residencies at Roxy in New York as well as Liquid in Miami, and includes remixing and collaborations with Madonna, Sting, and Janet Jackson. Since then, he has been a major force in dance music and his sets consistently push boundaries and pack dancefloors.

John O’Callaghan, Guiseppe Ottaviani, and Sied Van Riel at Exchange LA

Friday night will be a great night for the Trance Family, as John O’Callaghan takes over, bringing some of the most quality trance in the scene today. Accompanying him will be Guiseppe Ottaviani, known for beautiful, melodies and euphoric vocals, and Dutch producer, Sied Van Riel. Subculture nights never disappoint, so come to DTLA and get your PLUR fix.

Dirty South and Henrix @ Avalon Hollywood

Dragon Roganovic got his start in DJing at the ripe age of 13 when he moved to Australia. He released his first official production as Dirty South in 2004, and the rest is history. There is no doubt why he consistently ranks among DJ Mag’s Top 100 with chart-toppers “Phazing” and “City of Dreams” under his belt, as well as his most recent album, “Speed of Life,” which is packed with quality productions. Accompanying him is Henrix who hails from Germany and will prove a worthy partner for the world renowned Avalon club night, Avaland, which keeps the party going until the sun comes up.
