Control two computers via two USB ports and up to four virtual decks with a wide range of effects.
Armed with studio-grade phono preamps, USB and S/PDIF inputs, the Sixty-Eight can allow a blend of analog and digital audio sources like never before. The Sixty-Eight features easy-to-use internal digital effects, and direct control of over 30 Scratch Live library, cue, and loop functions.
Support for two DJs at once
The Sixty-Eight is the first Scratch Live compatible DJ mixer that allows two computers to be connected simultaneously. DJ handover is easy thanks to its two USB ports. You can switch between two laptops without interrupting the music. e.g., DJ A can be playing out channels 1 and 2, and then hand off those channels one at a time to DJ B.
This means you and your partner can perform in parallel on the same mixer: Just connect, configure which channels you each will output in software, and then DJ side-by-side on the same mixer.
FlexFx
The FlexFx Bus in the Sixty-Eight works differently than other basic effect insert solutions. The FlexFx Bus is more like an auxiliary bus that can have multiple signals assigned to it. Those combined signals can have internal effects, external analog effects, and external USB effects applied in any combination. It is possible to cue and control the level of this auxiliary mix in the Main Mix. This architecture is very flexible and not at all like simply inserting an effect in a signal path and turning it on.
Internal Audio Effects
The six built-in effects are:
â¢Filter
â¢Flanger
â¢Phaser
â¢Hold Echo
â¢Robot
â¢Reverb
An exciting feature is the Sixty-Eight’s ability to synchronize its internal effects to songs tagged with BPM values in Serato Scratch Live.
Strong External Effects
Your favorite stereo effects unit, connected to the FlexFX Loop Send and Return, can be inserted independently or in combination with other effects.
USB Effects
The DJ-FX plug-in included with Scratch Live gives you control of two more FX units, each with three chained effects slots per unit. Control and insert DJ-FX using the FlexFX USB 5 Insert.
Scratch Live control strips
The control strips on each side of the Sixty-Eight have multiple functions for selecting the active computer Virtual Decks and controlling Serato Scratch Live. The default plug-and-play preset performs standard functions (Library Navigation, Cues and Loops). Advanced users can customize preset groups, so the control strips become open-assignable like a MIDI controller, allowing custom functions and mapping.
Serato Scratch Live
Mix and scratch files from your computer hard drive using Serato Control Vinyl, Serato Control CD, or approved USB controllers. The features and functionality of your mixer will improve with each new release of Scratch Live softwareâand all Scratch Live updates are free.
Serato Control Vinyl and Control CD
The Serato Control Vinyl and Control CDs each contain the Noise Map Control Tone, a unique control signal which allows Scratch Live to track the motion of the record, simulating the same movement with digital audio.
