Aztlan Theater

The Aztlan Theater may be one of Denver’s older concert halls, but that hasn’t stopped them from keeping up with the times. The concert hall does a great job of bringing in talent from across the country to play their venue and they’ve been awarded with a pretty dedicated following. If you are seeing a concert with general admission, get their early as a crowd will form for this medium sized concert hall.

Right next to the concert hall is The Bar at Aztlan Theater. It’s a hole in the wall, but the owners of both the bar and concert hall run it and can often be found working behind the bar and overseeing the operations. It’s not the type of venue you’ll find bottle service, but if you’re in the mood for a stiff drink at a reasonable price, it’s a great place to check out, especially after a concert next door.

Overall, the Aztlan Theater does a great job of bringing in musicians and artists suited for the smaller surroundings. There’s no bad seat in the house and, if you’re thirsty afterwards, you can head over to the bar next door for some cheap, but well made, drinks.
