Concrete

Concrete is an events group that hosts fortnightly parties all day from 6:00 AM every other Sunday until 2:00 AM the next day.  The main venue is a houseboat berthed on the Quai de la Rape, with a secondary, larger venue in an immense warehouse in Asinières: the Sira.  Specializing in electronic, house, and other forms of underground music, the venue has been host to celebrated radicals and contemporary institutions such as Club der Visionaere, Rahdoo, Nina Kravitz, Peter van Hoesen, Antigone, Awanto 3, Jonas Kopp, Varoslav, Jay Daniel, Laurent Garnier, Spencer Parker, Molly, Ben Vedren, Ben Klock and DJ Deep. Programs include several DJ’s at one event, each scheduled at a different time during the day. The relaxed, come as you are atmosphere recreates the Berlin techno dance floor ambiance and makes this venue a place where social mixing is at it’s highest degree.  Cover charge is usually around 20 euros, or 15 if booked ahead (see www.digitick.com).
