Factory Club

Located in the heart of Birmingham’s cultural space, The Custard Factory is a real warehouse-style venue, bringing some up-and-coming names in electronic music.  There’s nothing flashy about it, and the whole area is a hub for the experimental and underground.  Music policy varies, and a party-goer is equally as likely to be getting down to heavy drum and bass or to cutting-edge techno.

Non-commercial and attracting a trend-savvy crowd, the Factory Club’s opening hours are irregular.  Sometimes there are all-night weekend parties, and Sunday daytime after parties bring out Birmingham’s finest.  Make sure you check the listings as you don’t want to expect a banging sound system and find that the space has been overtaken by a vintage clothes fair.  Dress casually, expect to make friends, and revel in the down-to-earth atmosphere.
