Fez Ballroom

Located in the Downtown area of Portland, Fez Ballroom keeps guests moving with EDM, Top 40, and hip hop music.

Fez Ballroom offers different themed nights, including 80s night. While guests are fond of the atmosphere, the claim the sound system isn’t exactly the best in the business, however, state that after a few drinks it doesn’t really matter. They have three floors: the second floor is more of a lounge area while the top floor is where you go when you want to dance off the stress from the week.

The venue is more about the drinks than the food as they offer a small bar menu that consists of a handful of items ranging from a Caesar salad and fondue to a veggie panini and hot crab and artichoke dip. Drinks are said to be strong and worth the money, and the bartenders who serve them up are nice and not pretentious.

When you go to Fez Ballroom, come dressed in your best as they are a trendy venue that has a strict dress code and will turn you away at the door. You can’t wear hats, baggy clothing, tank tops, athletic gear, chains, or men’s sandals, and if you’re sporting hoodies or shorts, they must be neat, well-fitting, and presentable.
