If you’re looking for ambiance, The Firebird may not be your best bet, but if you’re looking for a club with a ton of energy and passionate patrons, then this is the place to be. The ceilings are low, the beer is cheap, and the bands range from nationally touring artists like Best Coast and the Dead Milkmen to the best local bands St. Louis has to offer.

Though the majority of patrons are on their feet for the entirety of the show, you can snag a booth at the back of the venue. There are several bars peppered throughout the space, serving up Pabst, call-it drinks, and specialty cocktails that change from time to time.

Parking can be tough in The Firebird’s Midtown neighborhood, but it’s not a problem here, thanks to the dedicated parking lot. They’re open until 1:30 AM every night except Sunday when they close things down at midnight, and tickets range from $10 to $40, depending on the act. Most shows are all-ages, though minors may be required to pay a $2 minor surcharge.
