If you want to see local St. Louis talent, Fubar is a great place to check out. There are two areas within this bar: the lounge and the venue. They may be separated by a simple wall, but the vibe in each is quite different.

In the lounge you’ll find a sparklingly lit bar, a pool table, and an arcade, all of which can keep patrons busy for hours on end. The sound from the venue does seep through, though on most nights you get the best of both worlds: fun, cheap activities and great local music.

In the venue itself you’re treated to plenty of elbow room to dance and get down, an angled bar that makes it simple to order drinks, no matter how many are in the crowd, and high, dramatic ceilings. Head to the back for two-top bar tables if you’re having an intimate night with a friend.

Drinks are more affordable than at other venues in the area, and the cover ranges from $10 – $15. Most shows are all ages, though there is the occasional 18+ show.
