Le Batofar

For the past 15 years, Le Batofar has been one of the most famous clubs to showcase modern music.  Its atypical decor and design in the hold of a houseboat is truly unique.  Three full bars with different ambiances allow for plenty of opportunities to grab a drink between dances.  As for the music, the Batofar’s goal is to showcase the up and coming figures in electronic music, hip-hop, and world music through live shows in the concert hall and DJ sets in the club.  Among the top names who have played at the venue are Venetian Snares, Otto von Schirach, Pere Ubu, Lydia Lunch, Luke Hess, Mike Parker, Sigha, Trevino, and Mickey Pierce.  Guests can enjoy concerts from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM and dance the night away until 6:00 in the morning.  Le Batofar also has a restaurant that serves simple and fresh cuisine, a terrace overlooking the Seine, and a beach and open air bar add to the holiday feeling in the summer.  Concerts are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and the club is open from Wednesdays through Sundays.  Cover charge for the club is 5 euros on weeknights and 10 euros on weekends.  Smart, casual dress required.
