About MythLocated just minutes from downtown St. Paul, Myth is an exciting venue and event center that’s been home to many nationally touring and local bands. Past acts include Stone Temple Pilots, Scissor Sisters, The Flaming Lips, Nas, M.I.A., B.o.B., and Maroon 5.
The sound system is second to none, and there’s tons of space, though if you want a seat you better get there early and seats are only available on the second floor. Parking is free in a dedicated lot, but drinks are pricier than at most venues in the area: a mixed drink can cost up to $9.
Those who are looking for a truly VIP experience can check out their Luxury Viewing Suites. The King is a tribute to who else – Elvis – and includes a Carrera marble table, a glossy white vinyl couch, and plenty of red velvet and rhinestones throughout. The Boss is a tribute to Mr. Workingman, Bruce Springsteen, and includes a soft, comfortable leather couch, a polished concrete table, and seats upholstered in worn-in jeans.
The Artist plays homage to the Artist Formerly Known as Prince, with a slick, sexy silver couch, plenty of feathery fringe, and of course plenty of purple. The most exclusive of all is the White Room, which is complete with a rooftop patio, all-white furnishings and décor, and an incredible LED light changing bar all to itself.
