About Ritter Butzke

Take an old manufacturing plant, decorate it with love and invite a pack of dance enthusiasts, rather more than less, to enjoy a great party in a perfect location. Welcome to Ritter Butzke!

The club near “Moritzplatz” has several floors and is generally quite packed with a dance-mad, but friendly crowd. As per the saying “life punishes the latecomers” you’ll have good chances to queue up for hours without getting access in the end, if you decide to rock up late.

Once inside you’ll be spoiled with loud Electro, Techno and Minimal sounds, jumping at you from a high quality soundsystem. Vernissages, public viewings and other events are also held here in regular intervals.

The ambiance is great with splendid lighting, mirrors and a disco ball reflecting good ol’ disco days. One of the attractions is the cute little hawker’s tray before the cloakroom, selling lollies and anything else a late-night-heart might crave.

The crowd, happily paying 10 – 12 Euros at the door, keeps going with reasonably priced drinks and generally does not leave before 8am.

Make sure to check opening hours on the club’s website before heading there, as Ritter Butzke is renowned for its irregularity – a clever strategy to keep the crowds interested and flocking to the place.
