Saponeria Club

Saponeria Club was founded on the premises of a former soap factory (Saponeria literary means “factory of soap”) in the Ostiense district. The origin of the club represents the evolution that this area of the city has gone through during the years. Still conserving its industrial style, Ostiense became the epicenter of the nightlife in Rome, thanks to the opening of several nightclubs and bars, cultural initiatives and associations, and entertainment events. The transformation of this area did not compromise its industrial-archeological value (full of buildings of the ‘60s), if anything it has found a way to reuse it and nurture it.
Saponeria Club is a 950 square meters venue with a capacity of about 800 people. It is divided into the dancefloor (600 square meters) and the private room (200 square meters). During the years Saponeria Club has been subject of many renovations and today it has a minimal design with an updated technical equipment. The style tries to underline the original structure, giving it a “loft” vibe. The taste is retro and elegant, but most of all is client-centered. On Friday resident and guest DeeJays mix house music while Saturdays are dedicated to hip hop events.
