About Sloane SF

Sloane is one a number of upscale, boutique nightclubs that have popped up in the city.  Designed with elegant simplicity, in an industrial chic style, the mix of raw brick, gorgeous redwood paneling, black metal brushed aluminum shelving, and exposed iron beams, it is trendy and visually striking.  Residing in a warehouse with 20ft. ceilings, that managed to survive the 1906 earthquake, the history of the place blends into the modern elements.

Walking in one of the first things that catches the eye is the massive 30ft. redwood planked bar.  Tunes are provided by a DJ in a balcony booth overlooking the bar.  Past the bar there is a lounge area with seating and bottle service sections separating the front bar from the main dance floor. The main room features a good-sized dance floor with a unique set of floor to ceiling beams, with another large redwood-faced bar, topped with white marble, on one end, and an elevated DJ booth on the other end.  Both bars feature unique, massive racks of steel shelving that fit right into the décor.

The upstairs mezzanines feature bottle service sections, plush leather couches and dark marble floor tiling, with views of the lounge and the main room, as well as separate restrooms.

The music is ranges from hip hop and Top 40, to house, electro and dance pop, depending on what night it is, and the talent behind the decks features established, respected locals, and appearances by some big names in the club scene, from Las Vegas’ DJ Scene, to Los Angeles mainstay Jayceeoh.

Dress code is upscale and classy, stylish, dress shoes, tucked shirts, and cocktail dresses.  Crowd is a mix of 20- and 30-somethings, ready to dance.  Fair warning: has been known to be hit or miss, which is true of most places, and the security staff can be kind of strict, maybe even a little brusque.
