An old dog is learning new tricks on South Beach.  What used to be the short-lived club Amnesia on Miami’s ultra-happening Collins Ave has been rebranded, redesigned, and re-injected with energy as Story.

The result is a place that blends the luxury and polish one expects from Miami and deftly incorporates it into the warehouse party roots of the club scene.  And that is what you walk into when you enter Story: a very, very sexy looking warehouse party.

Vaulted, cavernous ceilings and interior decked out with thousands of LEDs, lots of lasers, bunches of fog and retinue of beautiful and beautifully dressed dancers, are all designed to create the kind of ambiance that made this sort of thing popular in the first place.  Story features a large sunken dance floor, overlooked by an elevated (though not too much so) DJ booth and ringed by elevated balconies, well-appointed VIP sections and thankfully, plenty of bars.

Funktion One sound systems have become the calling cards of world-class clubs, so what else would one expect to find installed in Story?  And it’s a good thing too, as the lineup of talent has featured Avicii, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and just about every other huge name in the business.
