The Plug

Since opening in 2005, Plug has established itself as one of the top independent live music and club venues in Sheffield and the North of England. We’ve had the good fortune to play host to some incredible acts over the years including Arctic Monkeys, The Prodigy, Patti Smith and Lily Allen and remain constant in our quest to bring the very best acts, both old and new alike, to the stage. As a venue, Plug dances perfectly on the tightrope between grandiosity and intimacy, bringing audiences awe-inspiring live and DJ performances in a perfectly proportioned setting.

Having just won both the Best Club and Best Overall categories in the Best Bar None Awards 2013/2014, we’ve naturally got quite a spring in our step, which we carry into the new year with performances from the likes of James Zabiela and Drenge, as well as the now legendary club night’s Ohm Sweet Ohm and Spanked.
