“Eat, Drink and Socialize” is the motto of this music bistrôt in this Right Bank arrondissement of Paris just north of Le Marais.  Spacious, atypical, and lively, the Workshop’s street/urban ambiance and its musical agenda with small and large groups and DJ sets make this bar a popular rendez-vous.   It is a venue for those who enjoy a good drink at a reasonable price and a place to talk about and listen to the latest in musical trends.  The dance floor in the cellar has a distinctly “underground” decor with a touch of a Berlin feel.  The Workshop is also a restaurant which serves hot sandwiches and salads.  DJ sets like Dimlite, The Shy Guy, Coldfeet, Oldjay, DJ Naughty, Johnsen de Christensen and others offer an eclectic variety of music and alternate in the same evening with live bands and other creative activities.  Guests wishing to arrive after 10:00 PM are advised to book in advance, especially for showcase events.  Open Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 AM.  Group reservations available.
