Verboten Announces August Music Lineup

There are several truths that we hold incontestable – one of them being that when it comes to parties, Verboten is currently the leader within New York’s underground dance music scene. Founded by Jen Schiffer and John Perez, the legendary party is know for bringing together the greatest in house and techno and places them at some of the city’s most memorable settings, from sunset boat parties on the Hudson to smoky basement lounges. This year also saw the opening of Verboten’s new venue endeavor, a nightclub in the heart of Williamsburg. If you have ever attended one of the notorious parties, it probably comes as no surprise that its been voted Best Party by Time Out New York and has been recognized by the Paper Magazine Nightlife Awards.
