I’d Brush That: The Best DJ Hair In The Business

Let’s be honest, most lists are just popularity contests or all about who you know. But they’re still entertaining! From the biggies like the DJ Mag Top 100 or the IDMAs, to the hilarious Bottom 100 DJs or even our Hottest DJs ranking, who doesn’t like a good list? Bragging rights don’t hurt, either. Sprung from a brainstorming session (and a recent run-in with No. 1 on the list), these are the spinners who are Herbal Essences sponsorship worthy.

This is what those folks at Mattel only wished the ’80s Ken doll with hair instead of plastic could have achieved. If the ladies weren’t already distracted by the U.K.’s James Zabiela‘s good looks, then his golden locks that remind us of what grunge God Kurt Cobain would have looked like if he washed his hair are a bonus.

We’re betting if the Aussie accent doesn’t already make ladies’ panties drop, the carelessly tousled dark locks do them in. A combo between Johnny Depp and Brandon Lee—but, you know, a lot cleaner—Feenixpawl‘s Josh Soon will make ’em swoon.

Nigerian born, Lebanon-raised, and now London/Ibiza-based techno/tech house goddess Nicole Moudaber either spends hours getting those curls perfectly out-of-control, or she just wakes up and goes. While we technically know if we were to take a comb to her hair we’d cause a big problem, she still deserved a spot for those spiral locks.

Erez Eisen, picture left (obviously), would be like your heavy metal step brother always shredding in the garage, head-banging like it’s nobody’s business. At least, that’s what his hair says to us. We wonder if his Infected Mushroom cohort, Duvdev, is jealous. No worries, Duvdev, we’d rub that if you felt left out (hmmm, maybe a “Bald & Beautiful” list is in order).

We’re betting Steve Aoki goes through a lot of shampoo to get all that cake out.

Sure, Rebecca & Fiona always have roots for days, but they’re so adorable we give them a pass. From pastel perfection to pretty little pigtails, we can totally imagine having a sleepover, going all My Little Pony with them and playing with a million colorful barrettes and braids.

No matter where you are in the club when Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano take the decks, you’ll no doubt notice the bouncy beauty on beat that is Marciano’s hair.

People actually bring hair products to Tommy Trash at gigs. No joke. Any lady should be jealous of these locks.
