About Highline BallroomThe nightclub got its name from the Highline Park in the Meatpacking District. It is a popular party space that also works as a nightclub and a concert hall. There is a balcony and floor level seating. The ballroom can support 700 people, and hosts many established musicians for private concerts. Some of the past performers at this nightclub include Joss Stone, B.o.B, Lou Reed, and Lupe Fiasco. The music ranges from hip hop to rock, although it is more famous as a blues and jazz club.
Highline Ballroom has a full bar that serves the complete menu for seated shows and brunch. There is also a smaller menu for standing shows. When you buy a ticket to a show here, 25 cents of that money is given to Highline Park Foundation.
There are standing room shows and they have a limited seating. With the first come first serve policy, it’s best to arrive early. The standing room menu is different than the table seating one.
There is no strict dress code in Highline for events, so you can wear jeans, shorts, hats, and sneakers. However, private club nights and other events might have their own dress codes.
