About Sounds of Brazil/ S.O.B.’s

This Latin-themed hotspot offers an exotic menu of Brazilian and Caribbean food, plus caipirinhas and mojitos. Many people visit just for their unique delicacies. Chicken with mashed potatoes can make you drool over for more. The mojitos are pricey, but for a good reason. But you can get a three course meal with unlimited sangria for less than $50.

The music played here is universal and the styles include Haitian, Latin, Brazilian, R&B, Caribbean, and hip-hop. Their bossanova music is very different from what you hear on television and radio.

The club’s room size is 4000 square feet and has a seating capacity of 160. The atmosphere is neither too energetic, nor too laid back.

The best time to come to SOB is when a concert is under way before the doors have opened if you plan to get a good spot for seating.

The club has attracted many music industry professionals. Popular names such as Erykah Badu, John Legend, Common, Kanye West, Drake & Ryan Leslie have performed here.
