About The MidThe Mid seems like an appropriate name for this Chicago nightclub located in the meatpacking district in the West Loop. It can be found right in the middle of the city between downtown Chicago and the city’s different neighborhoods. Inside, The Mid feels like it’s somewhere in the middle of a live music venue and a high end nightclub. Where The Mid seems to find its hotspot is offering a club where music lovers can enjoy a great live music experience.
The multilevel club houses many VIP sections as well as two bars on the main floor with a third one on the second floor that can accommodate seating.
Recently, the world’s most selling dance music magazine highlighted The Mid in an article about “World-Class Clubbing.” High praise indeed.
Of course, it was well deserved. In March, The Mid brought in legendary techno pioneer, Kevin Saunderson for Mayhem at the Mid.
Friday nights are generally spent hosting electronic acts, while live DJs take over the club on Saturday.
Despite its spotlight for EDM and techno music, The Mid—like so many of its qualities—finds a comfortable spot as a club that can play to many interests.
